As a Santa Fe interior designer and member of ASID, Jennifer's approach with her clients and the network of collaborators is accomplished in pursuit of celebrating the art of living well, where sustainability is relevant, beauty is significant and function in a space is attained in a joyful design process.

From the start of the interior design process Jennifer engages her clients by asking particular questions. What honors a particular space relating to the history, style and function. She asks what can be done to artfully expand an interior space. Ultimately she believes each client's needs are the real focal point, but at the same time she makes certain creative and open discussions occur and finds that is the place where everything is possible. The space she envisions whether it is a home, shop, lobby, office or gallery has a fresh take on style and suits function in a powerful way.

ART has a major impact throughout Jennifer's interior design process. As she collaborates with clients, she identifies and discovers the various artworks and artistic elements that will become the key ingredients in the overall design aesthetic. As a Santa Fe interior designer, Jennifer enjoys the benefits of working in the third largest art city in the nation - where she has access to world class talent and great art.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jennifer owned two successful retail home and gourmet boutiques for 15 years in Southern California. It seemed inevitable and a natural progression that her experiences would lead her into the world of Interior Design. She landed in Santa Fe by design when she moved with her husband and two children in 2001, influenced by its rich multi-cultural and religious history, diversity of people, unique architecture and cosmopolitan vibe of the "City Different".

Whether she is designing a retail boutique or a residential project, Jennifer is passionate about creating artful spaces and enjoys the energy of the creative and collaborative processes.

Jennifer Ashton is designated as an Allied Member of ASID and holds a degree in Liberal Arts and Interior Design.
