Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Hogan Group Inc. has been providing Architectural and Planning Services for eighteen years. The firm enjoys a diverse portfolio of interesting projects for both public and private clients.

Public work includes extensive school and campus design experience, public health facilities, municipal offices and Historic Building restoration projects. Hogan Group has served the City of Santa Fe in Regional and Local Park Design and Mark Hogan coordinated a comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan as Chairman of the City’s Parks Advisory Committee.

Our private work extends to custom homes, commercial and retail design, historic adaptive re-use and medical office projects. The firm has also completed hotel and spa projects in Santa Fe, Truth or Consequences and Taos. We are currently completing design of a 280-room hotel project in Downtown Santa Fe.

Hogan Group Inc. has established itself as an agent of problem solving in both public and private sectors. The firm has developed sound practices and techniques to address community and neighborhood involvement and consensus building. Hogan Group has supported school districts in bond campaigns and in front of the legislature and municipalities during public meetings involving Parks’ General Plan changes and Highway Corridors studies.

Many of the firm’s clients have turned to Hogan Group when they need to cultivate solutions where neighborhood opposition, sensitivity to the environment or community interest is likely to be strong. The office’s extensive experience in subdivisions, master planning and historic re-use projects in growth-sensitive Santa Fe is indicative of our expertise in this area. We support our master plan designs with Development Guidelines and Covenants that protect the planning and design intent. Establishing quality standards that secure long term value is a priority on every project we undertake.

Hogan Group Inc. maintains a relatively small but highly experienced staff in relation to the number and size of the projects we have completed. We are a design-focused office emphasizing well-thought-out, comprehensive solutions. We often take a management role in coordinating collaborative efforts with other designers and engineers and work well in team environments. We are able turn to reliable contract resources for production assistances and special projects when required, further expanding the range of our capabilities. Our sensitivity to the needs of each project, the client and the interests of outside stakeholders have allowed the firm to respond with work plans and designs that are unique to each situation.

The firm has embraced energy and resource conservation since before the term GREEN BUILDING came into use. Hogan’s interest in solar heating and other appropriate technologies dates back to the late seventies as an undergraduate at the University of New Mexico. We have designed LEED projects and are familiar with the administration of the process. Typically we will discuss project needs with our clients to determine the cost/benefits of LEED certification.

Hogan Group Inc. offers concept to completion services on project delivery where quality design and comprehensive services are of value.
